Pre-WWI USS Lamson US Navy Flat Hat. This is the larger wool body with the bullion woven ship tally. The lining is almost a champray / denim material. There have been 3 USS Lamsons in the US Navy all destroyers laid down between 1910 and 1936. The hat measures 11 inches across the top of the crown. Has been well used.
