WWI M1917 helmet with what appears to be Camouflaged. The steel shell is solid with good corking and no big dents. There is some minor surface rust and scratches. The inside has no liner. The liner may have been removed and the shell used as trench art on a lamp. The helmet was repainted and issued during WWII. The camouflage appears similar to what was seen during stateside field maneuvers during 1941 and 42.
