WWII German Prisoner Of War Made Trench Art Ashtray. About five and a half inches tall. Hammered copper base. Applied to that are three rifle rounds that are holding up a aluminum matchsafe. On the matchsafe face is a brass set of crossed rifles and a disc. Across the rounds is a banner with MADE BY A GERMAN PRISONER OF WAR SIBERIA 1919 hand engraved across it. At the bottom is a small sea shell that is used as the actual ashtray. Great looking piece.
