Civil war era 2nd National Confederate Flag oil Painting. The painting is in very good condition with just a small tear in the lower right hand corner that is hard to see (see photos). The wood frame is 1883 dated and has some wear from age, but still in very good condition. Painted itself looks to be wartime dated. The whole painting measures 17 x 15 inches. A amazing and super rare piece. The flag depicted was adopted as the national flag in 1863.
