Vietnam US Special Forces Identified SOG CCC Veterans Jungle Shirt. Third model rip-stop jungle shirt. On the right sleeve is a Vietnamese machine embroidered name strip with a Vietnamese hand embroidered ARVN SF pattern jump wing. On the left is a Vietnamese made branch strip and US basic jump wing. On the sleeve is still a Japanese made Airborne tab but the shoulder patch is missing. On the collars are Vietnamese machine embroidered Sergeant First Class chevrons. On the left chest pocket you can see the shadowing of a SCU / Liaison Department patch. Tag in collar is marked an X-Small-short. Jungle shirt has been well worn and used and the collar is split from wear, but does it matter with a real combat worn SOG shirt? One of our locals pulled this out of a rag pile at a antique market a couple of months ago. Could be an easy restoration if you wanted to, but I like it the way it is. He was S-4 in 1970 at CCC and also was attached to C-3 Mike Force at one time.
