Incredible Vietnam Team 162 ERDL Camo Advisors Uniform. This is one of the best Team 162 pieces I have ever handled. The shirt is an ARVN issue piece dated 1-68. On the left sleeve is a South Vietnamese Army Airborne Brigade silk woven patch. On the left chest are Vietnamese machine embroidered branch strip, master airborne wings, and a CIB. On the right chest is his name and a silk woven SF pattern ARVN Master jump wing. On the right sleeve is a Vietnamese machine embroidered airborne tab and a WWII vintage 101st patch ( you variant types might go nuts as we were always told this was one of the tougher variants to find). Between the second and third button is sewn a thin bullion NCO chevron rank. Shirt is marked a A-3. The trousers are cut in a ARVN pattern and are marked a size Q3 and dated 1-68. Lastly is his ARVN airborne cup field cap. Standard eight point cut made out of rip-stop erdl. Has the naugahyde type sweatband. Satin like lining with the plastic sweat diamond. Two metal grommets on each side. Pinned to the front is a beercan Army NCO rank, that one of the clutch back posts broke over the years but is still pinned to the cap. This uniform is incredible, almost looks like it may have only been worn once. Would be hard to upgrade this set.
