Vietnam Identified VN Marine Corps Advisors Tiger Stripe Uniform & Vest. This is simply the best VNMC Advisors uniform we have ever owned or seen for sale. Consists of tailor made early pattern seawave material. On the left sleeve is a silk woven brigade patch. Above the left pocket is a Vietnamese m.e. US MARINES strip. Above that , Vietnamese hand embroidered is a USMC / USN jump wing. On the right pocket is the VNMC divisional patch, On the pocket flap is a hand embroidered rank. Above the pocket is a hand embroidered name strip. About that also sewn on VNMC tiger material is a ARVN Special Forces pattern airborne jump wing and above that is a Ranger Recon qualification patch. The collars are held down with small snaps. The trousers are the matching material with a six pocket cut and the leg draw strings are also in tiger stripe. Also included is fire force type vest. Cut kind of similar to a SOG 1-0 except no cross straps. There are two zippered pockets on the sides of each chest pocket.The same insignia that is on the shirt is also on the vest except no brigade patch. The shirt and trousers look like they may have been worn once, but the vest is super salty and was well used and loved. There is a repair in the back of the neck. We bought this about four years ago and it has been mostly on a torso and in a showcase in the not for sale section of the showroom. Something else came in that is just as cool so it's time to put this one out for sale. The price is very high on this one as I think it would be hard to find a better VNMC uniform. Have never seen the vest before.
