US Marine Corps Navajo Code Talkers Neck Medal. Scarlet and gold ribbed neck ribbon. Suspended at the bottom is a two and a half inces in diameter copper (?) medallion / pan. In the center is a Navajo in relief with TRIBUTE TO NAVAJO CODE TALKERS BY DOUG HYDE 1989 around the figure. On the back is marked COMMISSIONED THROUGH THE HEARD MUSEUM BY BETAWEST PROPERTIES INC AND KOLL COMPANY ON BEHLF OF THE PHOENIX PLAZA. Included is the program that was printed for that day that names all the surviving Code Talkers that were there that day. This medal belonged to a member of the color guard, but I forgot to write down his name. Great shape.
