Coarsair Marine Pilot's Painted Suitcase

WWII US Marine Corps Corsair Pilot's Painted Suitcase. Standard sized 1940's, hard body suitcase. Syencilled on the front is a Corasir with  MARINES QUANTICO  S. WALAS . On the reverse is PARRIS ISLAND  CHERRY POINT. Suitcase is dusty from storage. Some of the stitching that holds the leather edges in place has come loose, and the spine is broken, so would be hard to use as a regular suitcase. This piece sat in out old showroom for many years on our wall of painted suitcases. When we moved we realized we didn't have room for it anymore, and thought it is time to move it along. Great piece of eye candy.
