Named 1939 Dated Marine Corps Poncho

Very rare Pre-WWII USMC rain poncho that is named. The poncho has clearly been used and is showing its age. Overall it is supple, but some parts are dry and brittle. The collar is worn and starting to flake apart. The metal hardware appears intact. The poncho is named and unit marked (see photos). These ponchos were made in a limited number and were only really seen used early in WWII in the South Pacific.
