WWII Japanese Army Officers Desk Inkwell. About five and a quarter inches long and two and a half inches tall. Pewter like finish. Shows a field cap, pistol and binoculars case. The binoculars case lid lifts off and there is a two piece glass inkwell. The hinge to the ink well is damaged and the lid is separated (see photos). The lid does not seat properly.
