WWII Or Before Japanese 1st Class Pilots Badge. The badge is two inches tall by about one and a half inches wide. Appears to be made out of silver. Unmarked but shows a tarnished type finish you only see on silver. Flat pinback post with a pressure like closure, for wear. The pressure catch looks like some sort of jewelers modification. The badge shows use and wear that you like seeing on these. Included is a jeweler's box, and it looks like it is from the late 1930's Not sure if this is the proper box, but this how the badge was sold to us. I chased this badge on numerous trips to Japan, and was finally able to purchase it. Would love to keep it.....
