Japanese Meiji Era Imperial Guard's Childs Kepi / Visor Hat. This is an exact made version of the Imperial Guards hat but made smaller for a family member. Thin wool body that feels like it is mounted over a thin cardboard to retain the shape. Has a leather chinstrap and visor. Attached to the front is a Army metal sun badge. Has been and you can bet the kid that had this loved this hat. Wish it was an adult size as I have never had one of those.
