WWII Black Painted Japanese AAA / Home Front Civil Defense Helmet. Appears to be a pressed paper shell that has been lacquered and painted black. The emblem on the front has been painted over. Has a hemp like lining and a leatherette sweatband. Has been used but still in good shape.
