WWII Japanese Radio Operators Silk Signed Flag (?). Roughly fifteen by forty-two inches. Raw silk body. There is a happy face drawn on it and a mounted signal radio. Roughly translated it reads HAPPINESS, POWER, PRIVILEDGE OF YOUTH, YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS WEIRD. RADIO, WOMANIZER, CULTURAL THOUGHTS, FREEZING FIELD WITH FIGHTING SPIRITS and lots of battle poems. Has been folded for a long time and has a couple of small holes but overall still great.
