WWII M40 Snow Camouflaged Battle Damaged German Helmet. The shell is a battlefield relic, and is missing the liner and has a lot of rust. The metal integrity of the helmet is surprisingly strong. Has a shrapnel hole on the back of the helmet. You can see the original green paint in spots. There is no cracking or holes in the metal, except where the shrapnel hole is. The rust has covered up the markings and made it hard to read. I would love to know the story behind this helmet.
