Okay where to start with this rare set.
Japanese heavyweight pattern twill pattern. There are two chest pockets with single exposed buttons. The sleeves are cut ARVN barrel style. Over the right chest is sewn a post-VN nametag. In the collar is written the same name in ink. At the bottom of the hem, inside is the silk woven experimental tags from Okinawa.
The trousers are cut out of the same matertial, and in a four pocket design. The zipper is a brass YXX. Inside the waist is sewn another of the silk woven experimental tag. There are a couple of small pulls in the trousers material, but overall still in super nice condition.
These are named to a person who was a airborne advisor in Vietnam, and then after Vietnam he was a founding member of Delta Force and co-authored a book on the subject. We had thought about taken the name tag off, but decided against it, since the veteran wore it just this way. We have only owned a couple of pieces with these rare tags in it. These are the first tiger stripes we have seen or handled with the experimental test tags in it.
