Late 1930's US Army Air Corps Flying Cadets Athletic Jacket. Soft blue wool body. Cut like a gaberinde sportscoat. Has two lower patch type pockets. Waist tighteners on the back. On the front is a lightwieght aluminum TALON zipper. Sewn the left shoulder is the pre-war embroidered on wool patch. Marked a size 38. This is the first one of these jackets we have ever seen in person, only seen reference photos of them.
