D Flight 13th Bomb Squadron Pilot KIA Flight Suit Grouping

Vietnam D Flight 13th Bomb Squadron Pilot KIA Flight Suit Grouping. Group consists of two of his flight suits that were shipped home with his personal belongings. The first suit is the orange K2B suit. Standard issue style with Japanese made Captains rank and nametag. On the right chest is a Japanese machine embroidered 13th Bomb Squadron patch. On the right sleeve is a rare D Flight 13th Bomb Squadron, Vietnamese hand embroidered patch. Suit is marked a medium-regular. Shows regular use. Next is his sage green K2B flight suit. This one is well used and has some stains and tears. Has the same Japanese made captains rank and name tag. This one is also a medium regualr.

Pilot was shot down 10 Feb 1966 over Laos.  In 1973 he was considered MIA. He was flying over the Ho Chi Minh trail and on his second pass and started having difficulties with the aircraft. The crew bailed out, and the last known location was 5 miles from Sepone in Savannakhet Province.
