CIDG Camo Trail Watchers Uniform

Vietnam Beo-Gam / Leopard Pattern Camo CIDG Trail Watchers Set. The shirt is printed on heavyweight cotton in the classic camo pattern. On the left sleeve is a VN printed CIDG patch with a US machine embroidered black and gold RANGER tab above. Silk screened on the back are two sets of human foot prints, in subdued ink that blends with the pattern. Also included are the trousers in the same pattern. Both are well used and faded. We have looked at this set for a couple of years now, when a friend had it. He kept calling it a trail watcher's set and I just kept arguing that it was a basic CIDG set ( not that there is anything wrong with that). Finally we were set-up next to each other at a recent show and I finally asked him why he lept referring to it as a Trail Watcher set. Once he flipped it over and we looked at the back I then knew why. This same collector is also the same person who sold me my first piece of tiger stripes back in the early 1980.s This is a great set.
