6461st Troop Carrier Sqd Painted Field Cap

1950's US Air Force 6461st Troop Carrier Squadron KYUSHU GYPSIES Painted Field Cap. Cut out of a 51 pattern fatigue cap. It has been painted to give it a stiff "Castro" like appearance. On the top is a map of Korea, and on the front is a set of CAPT bars and KYUSHU GYPSIES. On one side are some Korean characters, and on the other the likeness of the sqaudron patch. Inside you can still read instructions for the cap. Great shape, but a little dusty from storage. Small size.
