5th Battalion 60th Mechanized Infantry Soldiers Identified Boonie Hat

Vietnam 5th Battalion 60th Mechanized Infantry Soldiers Identified Boonie Hat. Standard issue od poplin boonie hat. Sewn to the front is a Vietnamese hand embroidered 5/60th mechanized pocket patch. Sewn on bill in front of it is the soldiers VN h.e. name strip. On the top of the crown is a Viet Cong Hunting Club patch. On the left side is a standard fully embroidered 1st division patch and below it is a VIetnamese hand embroidered 9th division patch. On the right brim is sewn a fully embroidered 1st Log Cmd patch. On the back bill is sewn a Vietnamese m.e. CIB and army strip. Boonie dated 1967 and is marked a size 7. Has been worn and used but still in great shape.  RCR
